You're fired!

And didn't he just deserve it...

Last night's episode of the new series of The Apprentice got off to a roaring boardroom start when Nicholas de Lacy Brown, pupil barrister and artist, was the first of the new intake of "Sugarbabes" to get the heave ho. He made sure we all knew that he got a first class degree, a distinction in his Masters and Outstanding on his BVC but, that notwithstanding, he couldn't even muster a half decent argument as to why he shouldn't be fired, so fired he was. Damn good show. It's been said already, not once, but twice, but it really was painful to watch and I couldn't let it pass without a mention. Go and see for yourself. If he is the face of the modern Bar then I think I may have to go and retrain...

I think I've tuckered myself out commenting on this sad SAD state of affairs on other blogs; mr Nicolarse is the unacceptable face of competition to secure pupillage; he is all puff and bombast such that when the time comes to fight the corner, to actually DELIVER the goods and stand up for himself, he is unable to cope
Be forewarned AD - you may well find yourself having to work with him!!!
